INTRODUCTION
Dr. Megumi Ochi, an academic and legal professional specializing in International Law and International Criminal Justice, currently serves as an Associate Professor at the Graduate School of International Relations, College of International Relations, Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto, Japan. Beyond her academic roles, since September 2014, Dr. Ochi has been an active participant in academic networking and cooperation, contributing as a member of the Young Penalist Committee of the International Association of Penal Law (AIDP). Additionally, she holds the position of Senior Fellow at Case Matrix Network (CMN) since October 2016.
Dr. Ochi's recent research has been dedicated to the examination of philosophical and procedural issues in international criminal justice, transformative justice, sources, and standards in international criminal law, as well as domestic war crimes trials and the utilization of digital evidence. Her work includes publications such as her second monograph: The Rationales of International Criminal Procedural Law: Identifying the Premises in International Cooperation (in Japanese) and articles published from peer-reviewed journals such as International Criminal Law Review and Asian Journal of International Law.

2015年1月31日から2月1日に、オランダ・ハーグの平和宮において行われた、国際刑事法に関する国際弁護士協会年次会議「2015に向けた国際的な法的挑戦」に出席しました。
併せて、国際刑事裁判所を訪問し、エカテリーナ・トレンダフィロヴァ判事や、モハメド・エル・ゼイディ法務官とインタビューを行いました。
